3D Energy Drinks Honest Review

So this review is going to be a lot unlike any of the other reviews that I have put out on BroPump. Mainly because this energy drink is not necessarily a "fitness" supplement, meaning that it doesn't give you those magical pixie dust powers that pre workout gives you in the gym. In fact, this drink would more likely fall under a "lifestyle" category than anything else. Today, we are talking about youtube and fitness influencer Christian Guzman's energy drink brand, 3D Energy.

How does it compare?

3D Energy currently comes in a total of 10 different flavors, each based off of specific colors. Personally, I have not tried all of the flavors, mainly because in my area these energy drinks are not necessarily readily available. However, I have gotten the opportunity to try a few of them. I have been able to taste test the red, blue, and orange flavors, which helps a lot in my case because those are also my favorite flavors of Monster energy drinks, an extremely comparable option.

Christian Guzman's main goal in the creation of this brand was to make a better quality and better tasting energy drink than the popular competition on the market. Before creating the 3D Brand, Christian used to heavily ingest Monster energy drinks, which over the years have become more and more popular among gym-goers due to their zero calorie options. 3D is very very similar to Monster energy drinks, but have improved the overall taste. The differences lie in the carbonation and sweetness. In my opinion, the fact that 3D energy drinks use less carbonation makes them the superior drink. They leave you with less bloating, and taste more like a "lemonade" than a soda.

In a standard Monster energy drink, there is about 160 mg of caffeine in an entire can. In 3D energy drinks, there is a total of 200 mg of caffeine per can. So at this point, it becomes personal preference. If you have any sensitivity to caffeine, I recommend not drinking either of these options. However, if you freely drink caffeine and need a pick me up, a 3D energy drink is a good option for a higher stimulant energy drink. In fact, 3D energy drinks contain the same amount of caffeine as most pre-workout supplements. So if you are looking for an alternative to a pre-workout (maybe you don't enjoy the tingling sensation of Beta Alanine), this is a great option if you need a little kick in the booty to get ya goin.

But what about the price?!

I really enjoyed 3D energy drinks, however the last component we need to look at is the price compared to its competitors. One definite bonus is the fact that 3D energy drinks is supported by amazon prime, so you can pay for the energy drinks in bulk without having to pay for shipping. For a box of 12 cans, it is priced at approximately 24.99, which works out to about $2.08 per can. If you were to go and buy a single can of monster right now at your nearest convenience store, you would be paying about the same if not more for the Monster energy drink. That makes 3D energy drinks a great option, and a strong competitor in a saturated market.

Final Verdict

So what is the final verdict? I think Christian Guzman has done a fantastic job at creating a sustainable brand that can compete against it competitors in a saturated market. If you are in need of a pick me up, this is the way to go. Or, ya know, just save your money and make yourself a cup of coffee at home. I can't tell you what to do! All I know is that I really enjoyed the taste compared to other energy drinks, so I will be continuing to partake in drinking 3D Energy.
